STOP BODY SHAMING IN THE NAME OF HEALTH

In today’s society, its body pressure is from all the edges. Everyone here is insecure about their weight. Some want to lose it and some want to gain it. There is shamming no matter what size you’re. Even I’ve been influenced by it and started thinking that I’m not good enough. It usually starts at our home, our parents and family telling us to lose/gain weight. Little do they know they’re bringing our confidence down, they say that they are worried for our health but shaming someone because you’re worried about them is still shaming. Healthy will always look different for different people.  It’s time we have this conversation and address body shaming with our family because IT’S NOT OKAY.  Time to normalize telling parents not to body shame children whether underage or adults. Society is growing, it’s changing with new times but when it comes to weight we still get crap about our sizes all the time.  Body shaming is a large issue that affects all genders, it’s never cute...

SMASHING THE PATRIARCHY

Females have spoken up about their issues publicly due to the fast-growing influence of feminism, now they’re not afraid to speak their minds, but we’ve forgotten the real meaning of feminism in all this process . What is feminism? Nobody knows.  FEMINISM means fighting for the equality of all people irrespective of their gender. So why still no one talks about men's mental health? Men are always shamed for showing too much emotion, for crying and even for wearing soft colours that are labelled as girly colours by society and they're always told to be strong no matter what. It's high time we normalize men having a breakdown, wearing pinks, doing makeup.  Men's issues are very real and deeper than boys having a breakdown or wearing pink colour. But if you’re shaming them and calling them names to make choices, then the biggest problem is yourself. Stop pretending like you care about men’s issues when you’re the one dictating them the rules.  Stop hating men around you...
